Zinc clad dormer loft conversion
We recently returned to get a few photos of this recently completed project. Work involved a hip to gable domestic loft conversion with rear facing dormer. Although our clients had a limited budget they were keen to have something a little bit different so here we designed a zinc clad dormer adding a touch of class. We also used a bi-folding window to open up panoramic views out over leafy Heaton Moor that were simply too good not to make the most of. The stair has a simple but elegant timber balustrade that allows light through without being costly. We designed in wardrobe space and clients had some simple but smart wardrobes purpose made that did a great job of complementing the space. A small en-suite is naturally lit via a simple rooflight allowing space for a shower unencumbered by windows. All this was completed within permitted development rights avoiding need for planning approval.
